Responsibilites

Sales strategy
– Lead and oversee sales & marketing activities for Feed Additives in China.
– Key account management large customers (integrators and feed mills).
– Formulate commercial strategies to achieve agreed sales, margins and market share objectives in China for Feed Additives.
– Detail and implement the strategic roadmap to exponentially grow company’s business in China, including channel management
– Manage, motivate, train and develop staff and distributors/agents.
– Selection/ screening and appointment new distributors and technical managers.
– Manage costs according to agreed targets.
– Negotiate prices and prepare offers/quotations in line with global and regional price limits
– Budget responsibility (sales profit/margin, costs) for feed additive products in China

Marketing strategy
– Implement suitable product positioning within global product framework and defines focus points for developments in China
– Ensures in depth intelligence of customer needs, market conditions, industry trends and competitor data and develops marketing, product and channel strategies (marketing plan) and provides market data.
– Oversees and participates in events/training of staff and customers by transfer of knowledge within and outside the organization – through training sessions, (customer) seminars, mailings and conferences.
– Manages and oversees launch of new innovations as well as oversees global product management.
– Develop marketing communication plan with specific and economically smart communication strategies, in line with the marketing strategy – through advertisements, editorials, exhibitions, seminars, mailings and other promotions.

People & organization
– Structure resources, people and expenses to achieve marketing and sales profit results according to the agreed budget.
– Provides leadership to the team of technical commercial managers, product management & application support laboratory; develops the market development team as a ‘knowledge center’.
– Ensures continuous improvement of commercial excellence skills of the China Feed Additives organization.
