Role Overview
As the Biofertilisers Sales Executive-Home Products, you will be a key member of the sales team and will be responsible for ensuring the company’s retail lines of biofertiliser products are widely distributed and available online and in stores across Malaysia. You will provide planning & strategic input to the Product Director and Senior Sales Manager and develop sales strategies for existing and new retail products. You will have account management and new business responsibilities, as well as responsibility for planning & reporting your own activities. You will work closely with the Marketing team and other Commercial team members to develop sales, technical and promotional materials.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
Developing leads and closing sales with clients including plant nurseries, homeware stores, supermarkets, and garden centres.
Account management and ongoing sales support to clients.
Identifying and executing merchandising opportunities with retail partners.
Working with the marketing team to maximise the penetration of retail biofertiliser products online in Malaysia.
Sales
Identifying suitable retail outlets and building target lists.
Completing the target number of cold calls and sales visits to introduce our products to potential retailers.
Building partnerships with online retailers and e-commerce platforms in Malaysia.
Account management activities to maintain good relationships and clear communication with clients.
Execute sales development activities, including order taking, marketing display setups and in-store merchandising.
Meeting sales targets by securing volume and maximising revenue.
Supporting the Marketing team to develop materials suitable for new sales channels and customer support strategies.
Use Zoho CRM for progressing & tracking account development.
Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time either within or out of your category of employment must perform accordingly.
Qualifications
2 Years’ experience in a b2b sales role, ideally in FMCG.
Understanding of FMCG sales processes, ideally with a network of relevant key clients[MC1] .
Familiarity with CRM tools (eg SalesForce or Zoho CRM), forecasting & reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a good listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
You must be driven by a challenge and have the agility and flexibility to adapt to a very fast-growing company.
Strong attention to detail, with a high level of self-management.
Goal oriented, ambitious and target driven.
Reports To
You will report to the Senior Sales Manager, Biofertilisers, and will work closely with the wider Commercial and Marketing teams where required.
