Responsibilites
Account for micro ingredients procurement performance of China, making sure cost competitiveness and supply performance
Review purchase requisition and determine proper purchasing method, approving purchasing orders according to Group FINLOA MATRIX
Updating on main raw materials market trends & changes
Approve new suppliers, and suppliers’ performance evaluation approval & monitoring as well as to maintain & build good relationship with the suppliers, establish strategic partnerships with core suppliers
Guide and supervise the business development of the procurement team, conduct regular business exchanges with the team, improve team member’s business skills and overall quality
Constantly review & enhance purchasing policies & procedures and ensure in adherence to the Group purchasing policies & procedures& increase purchasing efficiency
Monthly or other periodical purchasing reports
Work closely with internal departments, General Managers and external parties to achieve optimum level
Coordinate with group nutritionists to optimize Micro Ingredients catalogue for centralization, sourcing for new Micro Ingredients & suppliers
Market trend monitoring, analysis, provide purchasing strategy proposal
Group bidding management of centralized Micro Ingredients
Lead and manage China purchasing team.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of working experience in purchasing of similar role with 1-2 years in managerial role.
Experience to manage Micro ingredients.
Experience to manage country wide and multiple plants purchasing matters.
Good knowledge of the Feed Suppliers industry
Good Business Acumen
Strategic Thinking with Operational excellence
Excellent Communicator with good English competence
Hands-on, results oriented team leader and player.
