Key Responsibility
 Develop/maintain key customer relationships (veterinarian/nutritionists) and lead strategic initiatives with key industry influencers/organizations, key opinion leaders, research. institutions, and national and regional industry associations.
 Provide technical support to sales in virtual and face to face customer meetings.
 Deliver technical presentations at targeted industry/key prospect/customer meetings.
 Develop technical information (bulletins, papers, etc.) to advance our value proposition within the industry.
 Maintain and produce technical pieces for product support.
 Identify and develop/lead plans to fill value gaps via new 3rd party research, complimentary products, internal research, and/or technical papers.
 Actively participate in industry/professional associations.
 Coordinate with Marketing on campaign/document messaging.
 Fully utilize Salesforce CRM tool to update Technical dashboard and document customer/prospect/key influencer interactions.
 Determine and facilitate/deliver necessary training across the sales team.
 Writing of technical reports.
 Writing of protocols for field trials.
 Analysis & organization of data from trials.
Other
 Carry out any other additional and reasonable job-related tasks as requested by your manager, in line with the needs of the business.
 Ensure inter-department & cross department communication is effective.
 Actively promote / participate in Company initiatives, including representing the Company at all the appropriate external events.

The post holder will also be expected to analyse customer information / internal resources to determine potential viability of potential solutions and plan accordingly.

 Internal: Sales/Technical, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain & Customer Support, Lab & Regulatory, Finance.

 

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications/Experience
 5+ years of experience in the animal agriculture/animal health industry.
 MSc in Poultry Science or Animal Production and or a veterinary degree.
 Strong technical/scientific background, capable of writing, executing, analysing and presenting protocol results for research or sales support purposes.
 Practical knowledge of the Asia Asia Pacific (poultry/swine) feed industry, its structure and the key influencers.
 The ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, and to work in cross-functional teams to achieve customer and product objectives, including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing.
 Well organized and an effective planner in use of resources, while demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness as market needs dictate.
 Excellent people and communication skills.
 Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
 Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
 Strong analytical skills in applied research
 Computer literate especially in MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications among others.
 A self-starter with significant drive.
Desired skills and experience required
 PhD (or close to completion) in poultry science or animal production.
 Demonstrated success in a technical service role introducing new products and concepts to targeted customer and/or markets in conjunction with sales and marketing.
 Additional language skills.
 Publication of Technical Papers in peer-reviewed journals.
 Knowledge & understanding of how a modern feed mill operates.
 Use of Artificial intelligence tools to gather technical/scientific information.
Other
 Valid Driving License.
 Willingness to be flexible with hours/work additional hours as necessary.
 Able to travel extensively (domestic & international) and stay overnight when required (up to 50%).
