Technical Support:
Provide technical support to the KA by exchanging information, visiting key customers and resolving critical technical issues when needed
Develop and implement the technical positioning of our Client’s core products based onsound scientific evidence and aligned to customer’s needs
Identify complex or advanced customer production performance issues and opportunities and engage appropriate support from the team to provide technical solutions
Design and lead trials implementation (including research, customer testing and product development) including analyzing and reporting of trial results
Develop localized or customized package solutions and concepts by combining products, services, tools, and knowledge
Work closely with our Client’s Global technical team to support the development & implementation of technical and R&D strategies in the region
Stay updated on Our Client’s’s Global product and research developments and work closely with global teams to transfer relevant insight to customers
Provide technical training to ANZ commercial team to help them to get insight into products, services and tools
Network and collaborate with technical experts both internally and externally
Regulatory Affairs:
Partner with marketing, commercial and technical team in the region to support the business growth by shaping and prioritizing the regulatory needs in line with the regional business plans, developing regional regulatory plans and executing these plans with the
regional RA team according to the priority list and timeline agreed.
Directly responsible for executing registration needs in Australia and New Zealand, including preparing and requesting product registration dossiers based on local registration requirements, advising global regulatory on dossier requirements as per guidelines of the respective regulatory authorities and reviewing dossiers and ensuring documentation meets local requirements, planning, undertaking and overseeing local lab test/trials required as part of the registration process.
Develop a regional registration database with the regional RA team, maintain existing registrations (e.g. renewal, variations) and keep product registration/information database updated.
Act as link pin between ANZ RA team and global RA team, keep global RA team updated on the registration status of key products and updates to local policies and regulations in ANZ.
Analyze the product registration requirements/options in ANZ countries, visit local regulatory agencies when required to find the most practical way to get a product registered, continuously drive for registration excellence with the regional RA team.
Monitor the development of new regulations/requirements in ANZ and ensure compliance with regulations, interpret relevant regulatory guidelines and advise others on regulatory and compliance matters.
Set clear direction to the regional RA team and lead the team in daily operation, guide and coach team members to achieve and even exceed the set targets.
Quality Assurance:
To support the handling of customer complaints involving product quality and adverse drug experiences occurred in ANZ market by coordinating with country, regional and global relevant functions.
To support Good Distribution Practice (GDP) activities by ensuring the quality system implementation throughout product handling process.
To coordinate with relevant functions in case of product recall.
Qualifications
Technical:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (“DVM”) is a must
A seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of working in the animal health and nutrition industry with proven exposure to ANZ countries.
Having held similar positions in the past supporting customer and product management. Possessing established network with registration authorities and agencies in ANZ. Possessing established relationships with key livestock integrators and feed mills in ANZ.
Strong understanding of the livestock Nutritional and Biological sectors as well as medicated feed ingredients. Experience with veterinary drugs is a plus.
Personal:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and manage expectations to create trust and credibility across a broad spectrum of the company.
A self-starter and team player with high drive and energy, have strong can-do and hands-on mindset, and good planning and organizing skills.
Ability to work remotely, autonomously and within teams and above all, an ability to just ‘make things happen’ and to problem solve in a concise and logical manner.
High motivation on taking challenges and conquering difficulties.
Strong innovation skills, with ability to develop localized solutions and concepts according to customer needs. Customer intimacy and commercial sense.
Able to travel across the region.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
