Job Purpose:
Responsible for identifying and creating new opportunities for company growth. The role will involve new business development mainly with local feed and petfood accounts as well as the business transfer from existing business with distributor into direct sales in South Korea.
Responsibilities:
▪ Research and identify new business opportunities for development, including but not restricted to: new customers, new routes to market, new products, competitor activities, trends.
▪ Collaborate with customer´s R&D and Procurement departments to focus on fiber based solutions to enhance various types of Livestock Feed, Petfood & Aquafeed.
▪ Managing existing cooperate accounts with a local production facilities in Korea.
▪ Attending international trade shows, exhibitions and conferences in Europe and APAC region.
▪ The position of the Sales Manager will have full responsibility for the entire sales execution with local accounts.
▪ Reporting and monitoring, transparent pricing approach must be in place when communicating with HQs.
▪ Provide every month sales reporting for each customer (business review).
▪ Project follow ups with customers on a monthly basis.
▪ Increase the business with local accounts by 30 % within the next 7 years.

Qualifications

▪ “Konkuk” University degree in Animal Science (MUST)
▪ 5+ years of professional experience in sales with the Feed, and/or Pet Food Industry.
▪ Proven technical experience with ingredient sales to the Livestock Feed Industry and/or Pet Food Industry is must.
▪ Highly motivated, customer focused professional with extensive skills in creating and growing solid relationships with customers and industry partners in South Korea.
▪ Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English.
▪ Willing and able to travel by car and plane (local and international travel)
▪ Work independently with self-motivation, Can-do mindset, bold to challenge and change
