Responsibilites

•  Support Procurement Director in defining purchasing strategy and purchasing plan consistent with the business strategy of the Business Groups and Nutreco Corporate Procurement Strategies and Policies (e.g. Sustainable Procurement Strategy)
• Participate actively in purchasing projects concerning opportunities and saving improvements
• Observe/identify raw material purchasing possibilities.
• Responsible for mill procurement team management & procurement compliance.
• Support Procurement Director in the Policy review & update regularly.
• Analyze vendor proposals, negotiate and close contracts and provides recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with supply chain about the purchasing requirements, closely monitor the requirements changes to make the purchasing plan.
• Practices efficient stock management and reduction in lead times.
• Maintains accurate master planning data in business systems.
• Participate in designing plans, systems, tracking mechanisms to help implement material requirements efficiently.
• Make forecast of raw material cost price development.

Qualifications

• College Degree or above
• Demonstrates ability to acquire and maintain technical understanding of Macro ingredients (e.g. Feed Grade Soya bean meal, Feed Grade Fish Meal etc protein ingredients) purchased.
• Solid knowledge of supply management combined with 5+ years of purchasing experience.
• Understands customer requirements and the impact of inventory management
• Good English Speaking and Writing
