Technical Expertise & Support
Serve as the primary technical expert for all adjuvant products, providing in-depth support and consultation to key animal vaccine manufacturers and research institutes in China.
Advise customers on adjuvant selection, formulation strategies, and process optimization to maximize vaccine efficacy, stability, and safety.
Troubleshoot technical issues, including formulation incompatibilities, stability challenges, and performance concerns related to adjuvant use in various animal vaccine types
Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and on-site training for customer R&D, Quality Control, and Production teams.
Market Strategy & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities based on technical insights and customer needs.
Monitor and analyze Chinese regulatory requirements and industry trends related to animal vaccine adjuvants and formulations, communicating these insights internally.
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform and guide the global R&D and product development pipeline.
Scientific & Regulatory Engagement
Design and manage technical trials and studies in collaboration with customers or third-party institutions to demonstrate the benefits and optimal application of our adjuvants.
Assist customers with the technical data and documentation required for vaccine registration and regulatory submissions
Qualifications
Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field such as Vaccinology, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Health, Biochemistry, or Organic/Polymer Chemistry.
Experience: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in a technical support, R&D, or application specialist role, specifically focused on vaccine adjuvants and/or vaccine formulation within the animal health industry.
Technical Domain Expertise: Proven, in-depth technical knowledge across the following areas:
Vaccine Science: Principles of immunity, vaccine development, and testing for major animal diseases (e.g., swine, poultry, cattle).
Adjuvant Chemistry: Understanding of various adjuvant types (e.g., emulsions, mineral-based etc.) and their mechanism of action.
Formulation: Practical experience with formulating vaccines and characterizing adjuvant-antigen interactions and stability.
Language: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is required. Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is essential for communication with global teams.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) throughout China to support customers.
Desirable Attributes
Prior experience working with international/multinational companies in the Chinese animal health market.
Established network within the Chinese animal vaccine industry (manufacturers, regulatory bodies, and academic institutions).
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult effectively with highly technical customer teams.
