Sales Strategy and Business Development
Develop and execute business solution strategy in tailoring to each market needs and drive through the collaboration from the countries leaders, Aqua General Manager and Aqua sales lead in the market penetration and sales execution in delivering the aqua volume and net
income.
Conduct market intelligence analysis to identify industry trends, and customer segmentation needs to the competitive landscape and impart the knowledge to the countries’ aqua sales team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic alliances, and key stakeholders including and not limited to key accounts customers, suppliers, industry partners
Establish a feedback loop across internal and external stakeholders in gathering insights on feed performance, allowing for continuous enhancement, innovation of feed formulation and nutritional enhancement for the aqua business.
Ability to provide sales solutions, technical advisory, and training to customers through imparting knowledge of how feeds are manufactured, including the nutritional formulations, processing methods, and quality control measures.
Co-design and lead sales and marketing campaigns, trade fairs with marketing, sales
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction
Leadership and Management
Responsible for budget, profitability management in achieving financial performance
Oversees the sales forecast to monitor sales metrics analytics across the regions
Provide leadership, and coaching in the execution of the strategic directive and translate it into execution sales plan
Enhance aqua sales and technical competency through solution sales training
Responsible for talent management through coaching, performance management, and career development of the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Studies/Management or a related field
PhD in Fisheries and Allied Aquaculture (Aquaculture Nutrition) is a strong advantage
At least 8 years of sales leadership experience in the Aqua Feed business
In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of various customer segments, feed production processes (including nutritional formulations, processing methods, quality control, and legal regulations) within the aquaculture industry
Familiarity with suppliers of raw materials and ingredients for aquaculture feeds, including their sourcing practices, pricing, and quality standards
Strong understanding of the aqua value chain from hatchery to processing
Excellent business acumen, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to work in a matrix environment and garner support for strategy execution
Innovative, with a focus on keeping customers at the forefront when delivering high quality solutions
Open to talents from across Southeast Asia (SEA) and China
