Responsibilites
Technical Support & Field Activities:
▪ Provide technical support to distributors, feed mills, farms, integrators, and key customers in Malaysia.
▪ Work directly with poultry, swine, and/or ruminant farms to troubleshoot animal performance, health, nutrition, and production issues.
▪ Conduct regular farm visits, feed mill visits, and field evaluations.
▪ Support and participate in local product trials with farms, universities, feed companies, and research partners.
▪ Deliver technical training, product presentations, seminars, and customer education sessions.
▪ Act as a technical advisor to distributors, sub-distributors, and their sales teams.
Sales & Business Development:
▪ Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, feed mills, farms, integrators, and key accounts.
▪ Support distributors in product positioning, value communication, and customer development.
▪ Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Malaysian feed additive market.
▪ Assist in customer visits, technical discussions, and commercial follow-ups.
▪ Support sales forecasting, market planning, and follow-up on sales activities.
▪ Work closely with internal regional teams to align technical support and business objectives.
Market Development
▪ Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments in Malaysia.
▪ Share market insights and regular updates with internal teams.
▪ Attend industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and technical meetings.
▪ Build relationships with universities, research institutes, industry associations, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
▪ Minimum 5 years of experience in technical, sales, or field roles within feed additives, animal nutrition, feed mill, farm, or animal health industries.
▪ Strong hands-on farm experience, especially in poultry, swine, or livestock production.
▪ Candidates with strong technical backgrounds are welcome; purely sales profiles may not be suitable.
▪ Experience in feed additives, commercial feed, premix, animal health, or livestock production is preferred.
▪ Experience working with distributors or channel partners is a strong advantage.
▪ Good understanding of the Malaysian livestock and feed industry.
▪ Good command of English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Chinese dialects would be an advantage.
▪ Willing to travel frequently across Malaysia.
▪ Must have a valid driving license.
