Responsibilites

 Lead sales and marketing team for novel aquaculture feed additives that prevent major bacterial, viral and microsporidian diseases.
 Form relationships with shrimp industry companies and multinationals, drive strategic partnership formation and adoption of company’s biotic’s products.
 Travel around South East Asia and other regions visiting farm and production facilities. Speak at events, organize promotional campaigns, network with industry KOLs.
 Strategic input on aquaculture R&D program, ie organizing trial partners to help demonstrate product efficacy, and selecting new pathogens/species for further product development

Qualifications

 1.5 or more years of sales experience in shrimp feed additives or feed, total of at least 4 years of aquaculture or feed additives experience.
 Educational background in aquaculture, agriculture, nutrition, or veterinary science.
 Experience in India & South East Asia, exposure to South American or Chinese markets is also beneficial, fluency in at least one regional language is preferred.
 Hands on farming experience/background is beneficial but not required.
 Good communicator that enjoys working with and supporting others.
 Driven and takes initiative. Candidate will be responsible for making business strategy decisions and setting up new teams.
 Passion for aquaculture, entrepreneurship, synthetic biology, sustainability/agriculture, technology commercialization.
 Position will involve extensive travel around India and South East Asia but ideally based part time in Singapore.
